It is essential that move-in and move-out occur on the following dates. Move In Thursday, Dec. 4th, 2008 3pm - 9pm Move Out Sunday, Dec. 7th, 2008 5pm - 9pm This is a high quality, professional Gift Show that affords an excellent opportunity to market and sell fine arts and crafts at the most advantageous time for the Holiday Season. All applications are Juried to ensure the quality of the Show participants.
There will also be a non-competing Commercial Section in the Show where non-competing commercial items will be showcased. This will be in a separate area from the crafters. This means that pottery, jewellery, etc. will not be permitted in the commercial area, only things that won’t compete with the crafters. Booth Information
For tables and carpet, you will receive an order form approximately 6 weeks prior to the show dates. You will also receive an Exhibitor Move-In Kit and valuable information to help make your trade show experience a success. Two businesses may share a booth but both people responsible for payment for their business must sign the application form. Send all contact information for the second applicant on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to the application form. Both exhibitors must apply and each must be accepted by the jury on their own merit. Commercial Section
All Exhibitor staff must wear an Exhibitor Badge. Let us know on the application form how many will be required and provide us with a list of their names. The badges will be ready for pick up when you check in at the Show Office upon arrival for set up on move-in day. There will be a multi-media advertising campaign that will include print, radio, television, magazines, outdoor advertising, $1 Off Coupons, etc. A combined advertising and promotional package that will bring you the buyers you want. Each Exhibitor will be provided with show handbills that they can give out or do a mailing to their clients and friends. Application Procedure Answer all questions on the application form before sending in. - Include 5 colour prints of your recent work including close-ups and groupings. Also one booth display photo if availabe. DO NO SEND SAMPLES.
- If you are accepted or put on a waiting list, your pictures will be kept on file. If you wish them returned, you must include a self-addressed envelope with enough postage to mail them back.
Enclose your payments by cheque or money order (payable to ATR Productions) or fill out the creadit card authorization on the application form. DO NO SEND CASH. ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE RETURNED IF YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED. If you are accepted but placed on a waiting list, your payments will not be processed unless you are assigned a space in the show. - Be sure to mail early with a 50% deposit and your second payment post-dated for September 1, 2008. ALL POST-DATED PAYMENTS MUST BE SENT WITH THE APPLICATION.
- Applications received after September 1, 2008 must be accompanied with payment in full.
Christmas Tree Decorating Competition
Participating Exhibitors enter the competition to decorate a 6’ to 7’ artificial Christmas tree (participants supply their own tree) for the Show and the visitors vote for their favourite tree. The tree is placed near the entrance so visitors may vote as they arrive. The winner receives a FREE booth in the 2008 Show!
Please Note All cancellations must be made in writing. Full refunds granted prior to September 1st, 2008 minus a $100 administrative fee. No sub-leasing of exhibit space is permitted without prior written consent of the Producer. There are no refunds after Sept. 1st, 2008. The Commercial Exhibitors will be together in a separate section from the crafters. Each booth comes with 8' high draped backwall, 3' high draped sidewalls, a double floodlight on an 8' tall stand and a 1500 watt electrical outlet. Tables and carpet are not supplied but can be ordered. Exhibitors can supply their own tables but are required to draped them to the floor to keep them consisitent with the professional look of the show. Because this is a Show with low lighting, each Exhibitor is supplied with a double floodlight in their booth and may add additional task and seasonal lighting. |
